The Heartbeat coffee table was created in the fall of 2022. It is hand crafted in steel with a shiny laquer coating. Two horizontal glass sheets are the resting on vs hanging from the steel frame. Other color options are available upon request. The design is patented by PRV.

"A heart is a heavy burden" as stated by Sophie, a character in Miyazaki's legendary movie Howl's moving Castle. The Heartbeat table is inspired by the duality of the heart as it is portrayed in imaginary worlds like those of Miyazaki's. The dreamy pink and floating glass, reminiscent of the state of true love, are combined with chains invoking the austerity of medieval drawbridges, and emphasize the weight of a true heart.
